This week we discussed Flowing In The Favor of God.”

Our key verse was:

“2 Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.” – Romans 12:2 CSB

Conformed - to fashion alike, I.e. conform to the same pattern.

Transform - literally or figuratively, “metamorphose” think caterpillar to a butterfly

Renewing - renovation

Discern - to test; to approve

Why is being able to “discern” [test lit. In the Greek] be so important?

To Flow in His Favor you need to Flow IN His Will…

Therefore, if you cannot discern His Will you cannot flow in it… and if you cannot flow in His Will you won’t flow in His Favor… because:

wherever the Will of God IS… There will His Favor be also…

You can say, “You know, Pastor, I want to flow in the Will of God for my life… where do I begin?

RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE…

God’s Will is for you to be saved… not just to save you from sin but to MAKE YOU HIS CHILD…. To make you his own…. Then, you won’t be “adopted” you’ll be BORN AGAIN….

Why is that so important? Because Jesus said: “… Truly I tell you, unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Why is that so important?

The New Birth makes you HIS CHILD…. Not by adoption, but by BIRTH

For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. – Ephesians 5:30 KJV

You see…. How can you be adopted?

No… you are LOVED….

Embrace that love and let it TRANSFORM YOU….
